Olympic Games

I have been watching the Olympics every day following swimming and gymnastics mostly and I am so happy with the results... Nastia did really well and won the all-around (even thou Shawn was also wonderful) just like her dad did 20 years ago; and Phelps, well, what can I say that hasn't been said already... wow! Both sports made history... gymnastics because it is the first time that the same country wins both gold and silver in the all around, and Phelps for winning 8 gold medals in one Olympic game for a total of 16 medals, 2 of them silver and 14 gold. Phelps seems to be so sweet too, always looking for his mom and giving her the flowers. She must be the proudest mom in the world right now. CONGRATULATIONS!
Another detail, in the past 2 olimpics (Athens and Sydney) they had a total combined of 18 new records broken. This time, in Beijing, the total has been 20 (and we are not even done yet) and 7 of them were possible because of Phelps... very impressive.

He estado mirando los juegos olimpicos todos los dias siguiendo la natacion y la gimnasia mas que nada y estoy muy contenta con los resultados... A Nastia le fue muy bien y gano la medalla de oro en el "all around" (todos los aparatos juntos) (aunque Shawn tambien fue maravillosa) tal como lo hizo su padre hace 20 años; y Phelps, bueno, que puedo decir de el que no lo hayan dicho ya... wow! Los dos deportes hicieron historia... la gimnasia porque es la primera vez que salen oro y plata en el all-around ganadas por el mismo pais, y Phelps por ganar 8 medallas de Oro en una olimpiada con un total de 16 medallas, 2 de plata y 14 de oro. Phelps parece ser muy dulce tambien, siempre buscando a su mama y dandole las flores. Ella debe ser la madre mas orgullosa del mundo en estos momentos. FELICITACIONES!
Otro detalle, en las pasadas 2 olimpiadas (Athens y Sydney) hubo un total combinado de 18 records rotos. Esta vez, en Beijing, el total ha sido 20 (y aun no terminaron) y 7 de ellos fueron posibles gracias a Phelps... muy impresionante.
