Beach trip / Paseo a la playa

Fuimos a la playa por 3 dias y la pasamos de maravilla... yo maneje todo el camino (6 horas) y fue un placer. El primer dia Jody durmio ni bien llegamos, habia salido de trabajar a las 7 am y enseguida que llego nos fuimos... mientras el descanzaba lleve a los niños a la piscina y a la playa.

We went to the beach for 3 days and we had a wonderful time... I drove all the way there (6 hours) and it was such a nice trip. As soon as we got there Jody went to sleep, he had gotten off work at 7 am and we left as soon as he got home... while he rested I took the kids to the pool and to the beach.

They took turns buring each other. Made sand castles and caught 2 jelly fish.

Tomaron turnos enterrandose. Hicieron castillos y atraparon 2 agua vivas.

When Daddy woke up we went to have dinner at Planet Hollywood... the food was not good but the place was fun. We enjoyed looking at the stuff used during the movies...

Cuando papa se desperto fuimos a cenar a Planet Hollywood... la comida no fue buena pero el lugar fue divertido. Disfrutamos mirando las cosas que usaron para filmar las peliculas...


As soon as we woke up we went back to the beach. Our hotel was on the oceanfront so it was easy. The kids had made a friend there the day before and we found him again so they played together the rest of the morning and later in the afternoon at the pool.

Ni bien nos despertamos volvimos a la playa. El hotel quedaba sobre la costa asi que fue facil. Los niños habian hecho un amigo el dia anterior y lo encontramos otra vez asi que jugaron el resto de la mañana y por la tarde en la piscina.

After lunch we went out for some shopping while the sun was too strong to go to the beach. We visited the Tanger outlet where I found a lot of Spanish books and also some workbooks for school.

Despues del almuerzo fuimos de compras un rato mientras el sol estaba demaciado fuerte como para ir a la playa. Visitamos un outlet de Tanger y encontre bastantes libros en Español y algunos para la escuela.

A los chiquilines les encanto el boogie board... tambien les gusto el hot tub y la piscina adentro.

The kids loved the boogie board... another favorite was the hot tub and the indoor pool.


Cuando bajo el sol remontamos un par de cometas... la del ave fue facil de volar con poco viento pero la grande fue muy dificil... se veian tan lindas en el aire.

When the sun started going down we played with a couple of kites... the bird one is really easy to fly with almost no wind... the big one was much harder.... They looked so beautiful in the air.

We had dinner at Thorney's... it was cool.... my dad would have hated it because there were tvs at every table and also big screens hanging everywhere... The food was really good. The kids dinner came in a fresbie that they got to keep and included an ice cream. They were so happy...

Cenamos en Thorney's... muy lindo... mi padre lo hubiese odiado porque habian televisiones en cada mesa y pantallas grandes colgadas pro todos lados... La comida fue exquicita. La cena de los niños se las daban en un frisbee que se podian llevar e incluia un helado. Estaban muy felices...


Al otro dia fuimos a Broadway on the Beach. Es como un shopping afuera y esta muy lindo para caminar. Aunque la mejor parte es darles de comer a los peces y patos.

The next day we went to Broadway on the Beach. It's an outside shopping and it is so nice to walk around. The best part is feeding the fish and the ducks.

Well, it was a very short but enjoyable trip to the beach. We had a great time.

Bueno, fue un viaje corto pero muy disfrutado. Pasamos divino.
The kids had fun looking at the jelly fish. They asked me to released them before we left.

Los niños se divirtieron mucho con las aguas vivas. Me pidieron que las soltara antes de irme.

This one is a 2 string kite but there wasn't enough wind to fly it.

Esta es una cometa de 2 piolas pero no habia suficiente viento para volarla.
