1997
After about 3 months of getting married Jody got into a horrible car accident that almost killed him. He was in the ICU for awhile, lots of surgeries and long recovery... not a very nice start to our marriage.

Despues de casi 3 meses de casados Jody tuvo un horrible accidente automobilistico que casi lo mata. Estuvo en cuidados intensivos por un tiempo, muchas cirugias y una recuperacion larga... no un buen comienzo para nuestro matrimonio.

1998 in Myrtle Beach, SC
Jody spent most of the year recovering from his accident. We were living in Upstate SC and taking lots of trips to the southern part of the state, NC, GA and TN.

Jody paso la mayoria del año recuperandose de su accidente. Estabamos viviendo en el norte de Carolina del sur y viajando mucho a la parte sur del estado, Carolina del Norte, Georgia y Tennessee.


Welcoming 1999 in Uruguay with my parents and my maternal grandmother. We went to Uruguay at the end of 1998 to spend the Holidays there and Jody finally got to meet my family. We had a great trip, Jody went diving in Isla de Lobos (a place where we have lots of sea wolfs and sea lions) we traveled around to Montevideo and other coastal areas of Uruguay.

Recibiendo el año 1999 en Uruguay con mis padres y abuela materna. Fuimos a Uruguay al finald el año 1998 a celebrar las fiestas alla y Jody finalmente conocio a mi familia. Tuvimos un buen viaje, Jody fue a busear a la Isla de Lobos, visitamos Montevideo y otras areas de la costa de Uruguay.

2000
After returning from Uruguay we moved to Virginia Beach, VA. We lived 1 mile from the Oceanfront and we used to ride our bikes to the beach almost every day. I really felt at home there.

Despues de volver de Uruguay nos mudamos a Virginia Beach, VA. Viviamos a 1 kilometro y medio de la costa e ibamos en bici a la playa casi todos los dias. Realmente me senti como en casa alli.


2001
We were in Virginia Beach expecting our first baby. I made really good friends there and was enjoying the pregnancy, the concerts at the oceanfront, events, etc.... This year I also went to my first game of Ice Hockey and I loved it.

Estabamos en Virginia Beach esperando nuestro primer bebe. Hice buenas amigas alli y estaba disfrutando mi embarazo, los conciertos en la costa, eventos, etc.... En este año tambien fui a mi primer partido de Hockey sobre hielo y me encanto.

2002
My parents came to the US for the first time to meet their first grandson and stayed for 3 months. We were able to take them to visit NYC, Washington DC, GA and they also got to meet Jody's family went we came to SC to visit. We were having such a wonderful time as new parents. Logan was such a blessing.

Mis padres vinieron a los EEUU por primera vez a conocer a su primer nieto y se quedaron 3 meses. Pudimos llevarlos a visitar Nueva York, Washington DC, Georgia y tambien conocieron a la familia de Jody cuando los trajimos a visitar a Carolina del Sur. Estabamos disfrutando un tiempo maravilloso como padres primerisos. Logan fue una bendicion tan grande.

2003
We went to Uruguay to celebrate Logan's first birthday and upon returning to the US we moved back to SC. What a BAD idea!!! In June we were surprised to find out that we were expecting Liam. What a WONDERFUL blessing!

Fuimos a Uruguay a celebrar el primer cumple de Logan y al regresar nos mudamos a Carolina del Sur otra vez. Que MALA idea!!! En junio nos sorprendimos pues nos enteramos que estabamos esperando a Liam. Que MARAVILLOSA bendicion!

2004
My parents came back for 3 months when Liam was born. I wasn't working at that time and we were unable to take them to too many places but we took them back to GA and some other trips nearby. The rest of the year it was very neat raising 2 small children.

Mis padres volvieron otra vez por 3 meses cuando nacio Liam. Yo no estaba trabajando en ese momento y no pudimos llevarlos a muchos lugares pero los llevamos otra vez a Georgia y a otros viajecitos cerca. El resto del año fue genial criando a dos niños pequeños.

2005
I started working during tax season and I was able to celebrate Mother's day in Uruguay with my sister and her kids, my mom and my grandma... Daddy didn't make it this time. Despite the kids faces in this picture we had a wonderful month. I was so happy to be able to share my two precious boys with my family and friends. After that trip I continued to work.

Empece a trabajar durante la epoca de impuestos y pude celebrar el dia de la madre en Uruguay con mi hermana y sus hijos, mi madre y mi abuela... Daddy no fue esta vez. Apesar de las caras de los nenes en la foto tuvimos un mes maravilloso. Yo estaba muy feliz de poder compartir mis dos maravillosos hijos con mi familia y amigos. Despues de ese viaje continue trabajando.

2006
We started building our first home and we were able to move in by November. It was such a wonderful time to see the house go up. We found a nice quiet piece of land right across from the lake.

Empezamos a construir nuestra primer casa y nos pudimos mudar en Noviembre. Fue una epoca muy hermosa al ver nuestra casa ser construida. Encontramos un lugar tranquilo enfrente al lago.

2007
Visiting family and friends in Uruguay. Again daddy didn't go. Logan and Liam learned a lot of Spanish and had a wonderful time with my family and friends. Logan liked to play more with my niece Ana Paula while Liam was happy playing with Diego. Logan started Kindergarten and he loved it!

Visitando familia y amigos en Uruguay. Otra vez, daddy no pudo ir. Logan y Liam aprendieron mucho español y tuvieron un tiempo maravilloso con mi familia y amigos. A Logan le gusto mas jugar con mi sobrina Ana Paula y a Liam con Diego. Logan empezo a ir a Jardinera y le encanto!

2008
So far we are having a great year. I think the kids really enjoyed the fishing trips and also the boat rides this summer. Jody went back to school this year and it is studying to be a Mechanical Engineer.

Hasta ahora hemos tenido un año buenisimo. Creo que lo que los niños disfrutaron mas fueron los dias de pesca y las salidas en el bote este verano. Jody empezo volvio al colegio y esta estudiando para ser un Ingeniero Mecanico.
